'Parasite', '1917' and 'Joker' Sweep the 92nd Oscars

Hollywood's biggest night in movie, the Oscars event was held on Sunday with loads of surprise wins. The host-less ceremony saw films like "Parasite" beating "Joker" and "The Irishman" in Best Picture, making history as the first foreign-language film to win in that category. The film won three other awards; Best Original Score in music, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film,the most of any film. "1917" followed a close second, bagging three Oscars, including Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects and Best Sound Mixing. "Joker" on the other hand scooped Best Original Score and Lead Actor. Gospel Artist Papa Dennis Passes On

Kenyans woke up to the sad news of Papa Dennis' death on Saturday. The gospel star was found dead close to Jubilee headquarters in Pangani in what police believe to be suicide. Daddy Owen, Nadia Mukami and Terrence Creative were among celebrities who divulged the information first. Papa Dennis is best known for hits like "Makeke" and "Foundation".

Papa Dennis spent the evening on 3rd flr, Kirima Building, Pangani. He was at the studio where he also lived. He had a mattress & no idea how he would eat. Just last year, he had Sh.50mn. Yesterday, he had nothing. He climbed to 7th flr & at 11.30pm, he jumped to his death. RIP?

YouTuber Edgar Obare Accuses Jalang'o of Harm; He Responds

Edgar Obare took to social media accusing Jalang'o of an intent to harm him. Obare said that the comedian rang him and requested a meeting at the DCI offices, allegations Jalang'o has since denied.A source allegedly close to Jalang'o wrote to the YouTuber saying, "Be very careful! They are planning to let things go quiet and people forget before they strike! I hear you still mention boss in your interviews," read the screenshot. In reply to this Jalang'o said, "A blogger wakes up and post that I called him and threatened him? That he meets me at DCI. I just laugh!...I have a lot on my plate to even bother with you and if you are honest about being threatened you don't post, you report". We will keep you updated on what transpires next.
