The Wire Star Michael K. Williams Passes On

According to authorities and various media outlets, Williams, 54, was found dead in a suspected case of drug overdose at his apartment on Monday.

The Wire‘s official broadcast network, HBO, said in a statement that they were “devastated” to learn of the passing of Williams, who was part of the family for over two decades. “While the world is aware of his immense talents as an artist, we knew Michael as a dear friend who was beloved by all who had the privilege to work with him. We send our deepest condolences to his family for this immeasurable loss”.

Williams’ other notable projects include starring in Netflix’s When They See Us and HBO’s Lovecraft Country.

Take a look at some tributes shared by fans and fellow co-stars below.

Stop and Go Film Trailer Released

Sisters Blake and Jamie’s big plans for the year come to a screeching halt when they are forced to rescue their grandmother and her beloved dog from her nursing home, before their reckless sister can get there first.

They embark on a hilarious cross-country race against time while contending with a deranged dog breeder, a highly inappropriate 9-year-old, and a clueless Romeo, all in the name of family.

Directed by Mallory Everton and Stephen Meek, Stop and Go is scheduled for a theatrical premiere on October 1st. Check out the trailer below.

Red Notice Trailer Released

Netflix has revealed the first official trailer for upcoming film Red Notice. When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest-level warrant to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted— goes out, the FBI’s top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) is on the case.

His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he is forced to partner with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch the world’s most wanted art thief, “The Bishop” (Gal Gadot).

The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other’s company.

Red Notice arrives on the streaming platform November 12th. Check out the trailer below.
