Is Chris Pratt the Worst Hollywood Chris?

This week, Hollywood has been awash with furore following a tweet that was meant to be a joke. On Wednesday, filmmaker Amy Berg tweeted pictures of four actors namely Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine and Chris Evans, and asked which "has to go".
Much to the dismay of many, Chris Pratt bore the brunt as the "worst Chris in Hollywood" for his alleged religious beliefs. Last year, actress Ellen Page accused the "Avengers" star of attending an "infamously anti-LGBT" church. Pratt then defended himself saying "nothing could be further from the truth", but it seems he did not quite convince fans. "It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which 'hates a certain group of people' and is 'infamously anti-LGBTQ'. Nothing could be further from the truth."
"Avengers" co-stars Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo among others came to Pratt's defense. Downey's post on Instagram partly read, "What a world... The "sinless" are casting stones at my #brother, Chris Pratt... A real #Christian who lives by #principle, has never demonstrated anything but #positivity and #gratitude...". Ruffalo, on the other hand, tweeted, "You all, @prattprattpratt is as solid a man there is. I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life. He is just not overtly political as a rule. This is a distraction. Let's keep our eyes on the prize, friends. We are so close now."
Pratt is yet to make a statement.

'Legally Blonde 3' Delays Release Date to 2022

MGM studios has announced that "Legally Blonde 3" will be hitting theatres in 2022 - initially scheduled to premiere in February. "Elle Woods is back! Legally Blonde 3 coming May 2022. We rest our case", tweeted the studio on Wednesday.
Directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld, the comedy's first installment, which debuted in 2001, followed the life of Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon), a fashionable sorority queen, who is dumped by her boyfriend. She decides to follow him to law school. While she is there, she figures out that there is more to her than just looks. It became an instant hit, earning $141 million at the box office. That success spawned "Legally Blonde 2" (2003), a sequel titled "Red, White & Blonde", which saw Woods heading to Washington, D.C. to join the staff of a Representative in order to pass a bill to ban animal testing. The flick earned $125 million in theatres.
Witherspoon will be reprising her role in the third installment. Just recently, she hosted a virtual reunion with the cast where she got emotional saying, "I didn't finish college but I finished 'Legally Blonde.' We all worked together and made this movie together that has inspired so many young people. It's just such a gift. Every time people come up to me and tell me they love this movie, I give it all to you, I share it all with you all."

'Dreamland' Trailer: A Tale of Unexpected Twists

Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for "Dreamland". The Miles Joris-Peyrafitte-directed thriller is centered on a teenager's adventures as a bounty hunter that end up taking an unexpected twist.
Eugene Evans (Finn Cole) is coming of age in the Texas Dust Bowl. Clinging to a dream of escape and reunion with his biological father, Eugene and his family struggle to keep their home amidst a plague of Dust Storms and foreclosures. In a nearby town, five innocent civilians are killed in the midst of a holdup, and the local authorities are pursuing the fugitive bank robber, Allison Wells (Margot Robbie). When a $10,000 bounty is placed for the capture of Ms. Wells, Eugene seizes the opportunity in hopes that this monetary reward will prevent the foreclosure of his family farm. However, the task comes easier than anticipated when Eugene finds her hiding out in his family farm. He discovers that Allison Wells' story may be a bit different that he had thought, and there may be a better way to save his family than turn her in. It doesn't hurt that Allison Wells is a good talker and soft on the eyes, but more than that Eugene begins to fall in love for the first time in his life because they share something else; the dream of escaping their stories.
"Dreamland" hits theatres November 13,2020. Check out the trailer below!
