Sony Launches PlayStation 5 Today

Days after postponing the original June 4th launch date of its PS5, Sony announced it will be launching the next-gen PlayStation game console today. "See you Thursday, June 11 at 1:00pm Pacific time (9:00pm BST) for a look at the future of gaming on #PS5", announced PlayStation via Twitter earlier this week.See More: 5 Things Kenyan Gamers Want from the PlayStation 5Among the questions to be answered at the launch include pricing, design and which games it supports. The launch date delay was necessary out of respect for slain black man George Floyd that sparked protests in the US. You can livestream the event here

Coachella, Stagecoach 2020 Cancelled

While the festivals' organizers have not officially made the announcement, a cancellation order was made by California's public health officers. The order claims that a possible spike in coronavirus infections would be imminent if the festivals happen according to plan.In mid-March, both Coachella and Stagecoach organizers announced that both festivals would be delayed until October. Coachella specifically, an event which normally takes place in April, was postponed to the weekends of October 9th-11th and 16th-18th respectively.
