"Reminiscence": Reliving Memories in Miami

Hugh Jackman is Nick Bannister in Reminiscence. A sci-fi, film noir set in post-apocalyptic Miami where global warming has caused havoc and the metropolis is rapidly sinking. The ramifications have caused sharp class divides and most people can only afford to work at night. This is also the best time for Nick and his business partner Emily (Thandiwe Newton) to operate their quirky business. They operate a business that allows people to relive specific memories. Watts operates the equipment while Nick provides psychological prompts to help the clients. People use their "sensory deprivation tank" to relive memories or remember mundane things like where they kept their keys.Things take an eerie turn when Nick becomes almost addicted to reliving memories with an old flame who happens to be under investigation by the authorities.
