Parents with learners in Grade Three now have two months starting tomorrow to enroll their children for national assessments under the new curriculum.
The tests - National Assessment System for Monitoring Learner Achievement (Nasmla) were institutionalised by the Ministry of Education.
As has been the case with national assessments, the outcomes shall be compiled into a report which shall provide feedback at the national level.

Is this really necessary? Is Kenya obsessed with exams? Are our kids really learning or it's all about tests. Or is this an effective way to gauge our kids' performance.
