Parents with learners in Grade Three now have two months starting tomorrow to enroll their children for national assessments under the new curriculum.The tests - National Assessment System for Monitoring Learner Achievement (Nasmla) were institutionalised by the Ministry of Education.As has been the case with national assessments, the outcomes shall be compiled into a report which shall provide feedback at the national level.This has made a lot of parents, teachers and kids jittery.Is this really necessary?
