Online Learning: New Releases by Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development

Week 8 of kids at home and it’s getting really hard to keep up with their school work huh? Need all-hands-on-deck to help you out with teaching responsibilities? The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development has new releases for the months of May-June 2020 to help you keep up with the curriculum. Tell a friend to tell a friend!

Here’s their updated KBC Radio timetable rolled out on 8th May. You can catch these lessons on these frequencies from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.

The Kenya Education Cloud has also added new downloaded PDFS for the months of May-June 2020. The ministry of education set this site up to help teachers and guardians teach kids remotely. Here, you’ll find state-approved material for both primary and secondary school kids. The resources here will help you keep up with the syllabus. You can download free PDF documents, audio, and even textbook excerpts. 

Set up an account easily and get to interact with tutors and even other students. The site promises “Unlimited learning experience”.

Viusasa, the video on demand platform has partnered with Safaricom and Citizen TV to provide free online educational content that is downloadable. Get the app and access educational material from Grade 1- Form 4. Don’t worry about streaming charges. Get free data that can only be used on the app by dialing *487#.
