If you're looking for a creative outlet for your children, consider introducing them to photography.
It's never too early to teach kids how to take an excellent picture. Yes, taking a photo is more complicated than just pushing a button. There is a ton of thought and intention that goes into creating gorgeous art with a camera. But operating a camera is relatively easy and photography is a great, inclusive medium for kids to explore their creativity.
Camera company Nikon-Kenya is offering FREE Photography & Filmmaking Workshops for Kids in Kenya from 18th-28th August.
The program begins with intensive study in camera, writing and directing. Then, students begin shooting their individual exercises. The end of the week is composed of editing class and post-production, ending with a final screening.
The workshop was designed to serve the needs of a variety of students, yet through hands-on classes and exercises, all students gain an understanding of the requirements and rigors of filmmaking, as well as experience the exhilaration of seeing a completed project.
There are two workshops available, so register today!
