Creatives Garage has teamed up with other supporting brands to help struggling artists who've been negatively impacted by the pandemic.
They've come up with an ingenious way to financially support creatives through the Lock-in Festival, a virtual 3D arts and culture event that kicked off this week and will end on Labour Day.
Artists from different disciplines showcase their skills in this virtual space by promoting music, art, films, performing arts, crafts, and podcasting as well as tackling mental health issues through internet intentional webinars and workshops.
Anyone can join in on the fun by following Creatives Garage on their social media platforms and tipping the artist/s through Buy Goods & Services Till number: 523866. If for whatever reason you miss the performances you can still support their craft through their website. The Kenyan artists will be performing alongside other featured creatives from Nigeria, France, Cameroon, Sweden,  Jordan, USA, Zimbabwe, Belgium, UK and Ireland.

The documentary is a highly entertaining and music-filled challenge, from these hip‐hop artists and their superhero, for more artists and concerned urban citizens to take a stand in claiming and reclaiming public spaces for art.

Listen to Aurie-  a Kenyan singer, rapper, and songwriter who describes herself as "Creative. Dynamic. Seductive. Like an AurieO." Her musical pot is a special brew of hip hop, rhythm and blues, and Afro-pop, seasoned with tribal undertones.
The fusion of all these sounds reflects her vivacious personality, often channeled through her live performances. Through fusing Dholuo and Swahili lyrics, Aurie creates and interprets relatable stories.
These and many more artists will be bringing you love, light, and laughter to your home in these hard times. Be sure to show them your appreciation by throwing in a little something in their virtual tip jar. Enjoy!
