The couple was on a trip to Venice, Italy, when Mariano proposed. Livia Brito was set to film the second season of La Desalmada next year but announced that she wants to take some time off to give priority to her personal life and build a family. She explained that she was excited to work on the second chapter of La Desalmada but she made the decision to take a break after talking to her bosses at Televisa."I think the time has come.
