The African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) have announced their nominee list for 2019.Diamond Platnumz, Davido, and Wizkid dominate this year's list in  the "Best Collaboration", "Best Artist" and "Song of the Year" categories, among others.Kenyan artistes have not been left out either.  Akothee, Victoria Kimani and Fena Gitu will battle it out for"Best Female East Africa" category, whereas Nyashinski and Khaligraph Jones will go head to head, claiming the "Best Male East Africa" award. Jones is also nominated for "Best Rap Act".Willy M Tuva and Jamal Gaddafi will face off in the "Radio and TV Personality" category, while gospel heavyweights Gloria Muliro, Papa Dennis and Willy Paul will be competing for the "Best Gospel" award.Naiboi and Enos Olik are the only Kenyans nominated in the "Best New Comer" and "Best Video Director" categories respectively.Chart-topping group Sauti Sol scooped both "Best Live Act" and "Best African Group" nominations at this year's AFRIMMA awards.The sixth edition of the AFRIMMA awards will take place on November 2nd in Dallas, Texas.
