The first ever KenyaBuzz Movie Week came to an exciting close last Friday with a red carpet event at the new Anga Diamond Cinema, inside Diamond Plaza II.Over 300 guests were treated to refreshing Ciroc cocktails, a hearty buffet, soulful live band music and exciting giveaways, before ending the evening with - not one, but two movies - back-to-back screenings of Dwayne Johnson's new monster thriller Rampage and Steven Spielberg's VR spectacle Ready Player One!Three of the planned four screens at Anga Diamond theatre are now screening movies. All of them are equipped with 3D, surround sound and a seating capacity of up to 200. The fourth screen is going to be a 4D theatre - a first of its kind in East Africa - and is scheduled to be ready in the next few months. The phenomenal hall provided breathtaking views of Nairobi's skyline from its perch on the eleventh floor. It was the perfect venue for such a swanky event. The VIP section had an elegant formal table setting with a rose-coloured theme.Guests turned out in numbers all spruced up appropriately for the red-carpet event.
