Russian actress Irina Baeva has cancelled her appearance at Women’s Day conference in Mexico after criticism following her ongoing romance with actor Gabriel Soto. The actress is best known from telenovelas such as Pasion and Power, Vino El Amor and I Plead Guilty.

Irina Baeva was scheduled to appear at a conference in March to discuss issues facing women such as self-esteem, cyberbullying and gender bias. The organization however withdrew their invitation for the actress to appear at the forum after negative comments online sighted that Irina Baeva was not the right person to give advice. This is due to the heavy criticism that has plagued Irina Baeva’s career since her relationship with Gabriel Soto.
