Diwali, Dipavali or Deepavali is one of the most awaited festivals in the Hindu calendar. It is a festival of lights and is associated with the legend of Lord Ram, which is symbolic of victory, righteousness and the alleviation of spiritual darkness. 
The celebrations are symbolized by cleaning houses, workplaces, and other places where people stay and then decorating with Rangolis, flowers, and lamps. Diwali 2021 will be celebrated on Thursday 4th November. Here are Diwali events in Nairobi leading up to the big day.
Shree Lohana Mahila Mandal is hosting a Pre-Diwali celebration at Feaston in Westlands on Friday October 29th from 5pm till late. Lots of scrumptious Indian food and lights. Dress Code: Indian Fab
SSDS Hall Lower Kabete is hosting a Diwal Fair. There will be fireworks, food and jewelry vendors.
The great Diwali Festival at Two Rivers mall will kick off on October 30th and run till November 4th. Hindu communities are coming together for the Diwali Mela. Lots of food and Mithai, fireworks and jewelry.
