It is a fusion of Hip Hop/rap, spokenword and skits. Like most of his writings, Omondi uses music for therapy and documenting his life's thoughts, philosophy and experience.In Dua Ya Nafsi, he opens up to the lessons, adventures, journey and experience. Prominent themes include his long term battle with liver cancer, pain, love, inspiration, spirituality and the impact of music on well-being.What is the place of story (telling) in the healing process? What is radical acceptance? What does pain teaches humanity? How do you document life beyond the words, turning them into music? Would others relate to the personal stories we share? How is it, living with cancer? What are some of the ways of coping? What focus do we give mental health and well-being? Who are the people that our lives touch and include? What is prayer?
