It has a colossal Nyayo monument that might spark an interesting history conversation with the kids. You can buy some chips & kuku in town and have a fuss-free picnic on a weekday.  Uhuru Gardens Located along Langata road, Uhuru Garden is rich in history and is a great place to spend a day out with the kids.
