Who remembers Sister, Sister? It is the comedy TV series that launched the career of twins Tia and Tamera Mowry. It is set to make a comeback 20 years later. This was confirmed by the series star Jackee Harry in an appearance on the Steve Harvey Show.
In an interview with Steve Harvey, Jackee, who starred as Lisa Landry confirmed that there will be a reboot saying, "Yeah…it's happening. I'm excited. Tia and Tamera, my babies, too. They won't leave me alone. I can't get rid of none of these women!"
The show used to air on NTV a few years ago for those who are a bit nostalgic like me. The series is about two identical twins that were separated at birth but then later meet at a mall. They then move in together with their single adoptive mother and single adoptive father. "I'm finding you, I'm finding me…you and me," that's the intro song that used to play every time. What changes will they make?
ABC, which is the company behind the show is however yet to make an official announcement. Tia Mowry told the US Weekly a while back that, "My sister and I are taking meetings as we speak, so it's definitely closer than ever to making this reboot happen. We are being told that they want it to be or happen next year in the fall. So, it's going by so fast, everything."
Another great African-American show that will most definitely leave you in stitches.
