Call for Kenyan Dance Talent: 'Red Bull Dance Your Style 2024'

Red Bull Dance Your Style, the world's largest urban street dance competition, returns to Kenya for its fifth installment. The competition will traverse various regions of Kenya in search of the finest dancers competing for the title of Kenya's ultimate champ.Red Bull Dance Your Style is a crowd-judged competition where dancers' creativity, freestyle, and musical prowess are showcased before a live audience. All urban dance styles are welcomed except for break dancing—the sole rule that cannot be broken.With unpredictable music curated by the DJ, dancers must adapt, showcase their style, and captivate the audience. Spectators use blue or red placards to choose a winner after each battle, determining the champion who secures a spot in the world final.The national champion will represent Kenya in the world finals held in Mumbai, India, on November 9th, with an all-expenses-paid trip awaiting the winner.The 2024 edition of the Dance Your Style competition will visit two universities and major cities across Kenya, beginning with Eldoret, Kisumu, Mombasa, and Nairobi.Internationally acclaimed Red Bull dancer and world champion, Stalamuerte from Switzerland, graced Kenya during the official launch of the 2024 edition. Expressing his excitement about being in Africa for the first time, he emphasized the importance of confidence and self-belief among Kenyan dancers.
