Yes. I bet we are ready for the blockbuster to hit Kenyan cinemas. Los Angeles on January 29th was where all the paparazzi and the press had set up to capture the worldwide premiere of Black Panther. The main cast of the movie was there and Chadwick Boseman, who plays the protagonist, turned up in true T'Challa style, accompanied by his Dora Milaje. What a way to make a grand entrance!
Fans had also been invited to go and celebrate in the premiere for those who could make it. In Kenya, Kisumu, Lupita's hometown, has been selected as the city where the movie will premiere. Kisumu residents will get to watch the movie on February 13th as the rest of the country waits for the February 15th date. How is that for amazing news? Lupita Nyong'o, if you're reading this, you're welcome to fly in.
For those who want to watch on IMAX as it shows for the first night on February 15th in Nairobi, head to KenyaBuzz.com/movies to get your tickets. It will be such a thrilling ride of action, plot twists and lots jaw-dropping moments.
