After 19 years together, William Levy has separated from his wife and actress, Elizabeth Gutierrez.The couple met in 2003 and started dating. They have two children together, 17-year-old, Christopher, and 11-year-old, Alexandra.They couple has been separated twice before after William Levy was accused of infidelity due to his involvement with Maite Perroni and later Barbara Mori. They were however able to work through their issues and get back together.

There were rumors at the end of 2021 that Levy and Gutiérrez were facing problems in their relationship after news broke out that the actor would leave his home. William Levy finally announced the breakup on January 27 via his official Instagram page writing, "We want to let you know that after thinking it over, we have decided to end our relationship. But we will continue to be the beautiful family that we are and the best parents for our children. That will never change…"He later deleted the message and instead posted, "I'm ready for the new chapter in my life."
