Dannny Dyer loves his whisky. He is unapologetically Irish after all. He is the super-cool Global Brand Ambassador of Grants Whisky, a job he had to travel half-way around the globe for and beat another 5,000 applicants to get.In a job interview like no other, the daring Global Ambassador traveled the world in 10 days, only equipped with a suitcase full of Grant's to share with the friends he was yet to meet. His travel actually echoed a legendary trip taken in 1909 by Charles Grant Gordon, the son in law of the founder of Grant's Whisky, William Grant.

Last Thursday, Danny hosted the local press to a fun, boozy evening of mingling and music to officially unveil the new look Grants whisky bottle. He made his way to Kenya from Arusha, Tanzania by road. Daniel shared his experience travelling the world as a Global Ambassador and his love for Grant's Whisky; from its distinct smooth, rich, mellow qualities and brand values like Bold, Unapologetic and Ambition.

So I heard Kenya didn't have any of the new Triple Wood yet so I thought I would smuggle one across the border! It's arrived safe and sound in Nairobi and it's almost time for its big reveal!

As fate would have it happened to be Danny's birthday too and he wasn't ready for the Kenyan surprise that came his way.While in Kenya, Danny also hosted an in-bar bartender activation event and an appreciation informal dinner for trade partners.
