US evangelicals who once petitioned for "blasphemous" ice cream to get banned now demand that Netflix cancel Amazon's show "Good Omens".
Numbering the thousands, they claim that the TV show is "another step to making Satanism appear normal, light and acceptable".
As if there couldn't be a bigger indictment against such an institution's demand, Amazon have responded to the petition stating, "Hey Netflix, we'll cancel Stranger Things if you cancel Good Omens."

Stranger Things is Netflix's hit sci-fi horror show that is a perfect blend of Stephen King, Stephen Spielberg, 80s nostalgia and good old fashioned gory fun. Good Omens is an Amazon Prime show based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchet's 1990 fantasy novel where an angel played by Michael Sheen and David Tennant's demon work together to stop an impending apocalypse.
Gaiman also responded to the petition on Twitter, and it seems he is not going to lose any sleep. "I love that they are going to write to Netflix to try and get #GoodOmens cancelled," he wrote. "Says it all really." He later added, "This is so beautiful... Promise me you won't tell them?"

By Thursday, the petition had reached 20,000 signatures. But the page appears to have been taken down and corrected to name Amazon. The petition now reads "Tell Amazon to cancel blasphemous 'Good Omens' series. Of the more outrageously funny and silly protests to the show is that 'God is voiced by a woman.'
Their other issues with the show include: 'The Antichrist is portrayed as a normal kid', 'The four riders of the Apocalypse, God's means of punishing sinful earth, are portrayed as a group of bikers' and even more hilarious, 'An angel and demon are good friends'.
The group, which calls itself 'Return to Order' also petitioned an ice cream parlour to drop its blasphemous name 'Oh Sweet Jesus'. According to Vanity Fair, they have also bravely tackled Office Christmas party which had Jesus bath mats and toilet seat covers, the AMC show Preacher and the card game Cards Against Humanity.
