Are your kids/teens into acting? Would they like to become big stars in the future?A career in TV, film or theater is an exciting, glamorous, but challenging endeavor. It's easier said than done. But if performing is what they love to do, there's no reason they can't make it happen for themselves. They'll need a bevy of tools though. And here's where Youth Theatre of Kenya (YTK) comes in.Founded in 2015 The Youth Theatre of Kenya is inspired by the highly successful National Youth Musical Theatre in the UK. The Youth Theatre of Kenya aims to provide professional opportunities for young performers, musicians, technicians and even stage crew. They provide training and mentorship for kids and teens who aspire to have a stage career.Signing up your kids/teens can help them in an array of ways. Acting classes teach kids to adapt to changing situations. This allows them to be less reactive when new things come up, and be more apt to accept change, both on stage and in life. It'll help them gain self confidence, boost public speaking skills and foster social relationships. From the 28th of July to 27th of August 2020, YTK will be offering virtual drama classes for kids and teens.
