The awards will be unique in that the host country won't just be Kenya. The event will be rotated among East African countries in order to provide an opportunity for the countries to showcase the beauty, culture and tradition of the specific region.

Media personality Willy M. Tuva unveiled the inaugural edition of Mseto East Africa Awards the MEA-Awards at Swiss Lenana Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday 22nd June 2018.
