Telenovela star, William levy is set to star in new series,
Montecristo. The show is a six-episode thriller co-produced by Secuoya and Pantaya. He will share credits with Mexican actress Esmeralda Pimentel who is best known for Telenovelas such as
The Neighbor and
In love with Ramon.
William Levy returned to the telenovela scene on Telemundo's show,
Café, Con Aroma De Mujer, and enthusiastically shared that Montecristo will be his follow-up project. "
I am happy to finally be able to share our next project with you called "MONTECRISTO". I can tell you that it gives me great joy to be able to play the character of Edmundo Dantes (Alejandro Montecristo) given that he is one of my favorite characters, a story that I have loved since I was little. We have been in conversation since I was recording "Café con Aroma de Mujer" in Colombia. Today thank God I can tell you that soon I will be in Spain recording for you "MONTECRISTO" love you all!!!", said Levy.
Monte Cristo is an adaptation of "
The Count of Christo", which follows the story of Alejandro Montecristo. He is a mysterious character who suddenly appears in the public eye, causing concern among the elite class over the origin of his fortune and secretive past. His company soon becomes an interest to many, among them being Spanish aristocrat, Fernando Mondego. Ferndando is unaware that he met Montecristo many years ago and he is the reason he has returned for vengeance.
