Every year around this time since 2015, various restaurants across Nairobi participate in one of the most anticipated foodie events in the city- Nairobi Pizza Week (NPW). Lovers of this Italian staple that has since evolved to suit Kenyan palates enjoy enticing offers from participating establishments for one week. 
This year however, organizers haven't announced any plans to roll out NPW. Don't fret though. If you're looking for places to enjoy great pizza, check out these Italian restaurants around Nairobi offering authentic, deliziosa pizza.

Il Giocoliere

Their Pizza Napoletana comes highly recommeded. They also have a wide selection of Italian wine to choose from.  Block B, Warwick Plaza, ICRAF Rd gigiri UN Avenue.

Pomodoro
Run by an Italian couple, Pomadoro at the Village Market prides it's self for offering the first "Pizza al Taglio" from Rome in Kenya.  They offer dine-in and takeout.
La Dolce Vita
La Dolce Vita is an Italian phrase meaning good life and this restaurant along Limuru road promises really good pizza. Their thin-crusted pizzas have been praised by many. They also offer vegetarian options and do deliveries. They currently offer a 10% discount on orders upto Ksh 2000.
La Terrazza Italian Restaurant
La Terrazza not only offers delicious pizza, it has an instagrammable ambience too. Located on the 4th floor of Greenhouse Mall along Ngong road, La Terraza wood fire pizzas are worth a try.
Mediterraneo Ristorante
Located at the Junction Mall along Ngong road, Mediterraneo imports most of their cheeses from Italy and make their sauces from scratch. They claim their pizzas rival those of sicily. 
La Cascina
This Italian restaurant at the Hub in Karen has received rave reviews for it's Pizza Salame Piccante. Worth trying out?
Trattoria  
Arguably the oldest Italian restaurant in the CBD, this Italian restaurant has been in the same spot along Wabera street for forty years now. Their Pizza Quattro Stagiono comes highly recommended.
