This is because one glass of red wine contains about 125 calories. Additionally, red wine is rich in polyphenols which have antioxidants. These substances are said to inhibit the growth of cancerous cells, prevent damage to blood vessels, and they also contain properties that help prevent lung disease.
Rum is also a good option for a healthier booze. It is made from molasses and pressed sugarcane. Experts say that these ingredients help reduce anxiety, fight muscle pain and even prevent diseases like osteoporosis and Alzheimer's.
When considering a healthier option, you can opt for a rum and diet coke to reduce your calorie intake. Avoid the cocktails with loaded juices.
