1. iPad Air and iPad Mini
Mobile tech giant Apple has announced new iPad versions, an upgrade to the previous models. In a press release, the company announced that the iPad Air will have a bigger 10.5-inch display, with its student-friendly counterpart, the iPad mini retaining the 7.9-inch screen with both supporting Apple Pencil and a processor that's three times faster compared to their predecessors. The devices are set to retail from $499 and $399 respectively.

2. Bonang Matheba
The popular South African TV personality has launched her own luxury alcohol in Jo 'burg dubbed, 'The House of BNG'. Bonang says, 'The House of BNG has been a passion project of mine for a long time. It's no secret that champagne is my favorite drink, so getting the chance to make my own MCC was an opportunity I couldn't miss out on'.
The brand will be offering Brut and Brut Rosé Méthode Cap Classiques (MCCs).

3. Kodak Black | Young MA
Kodak Black has hit headlines once again after he called out rapper Young MA for not 'accepting' his advances towards her. In his new track, 'Pimpin Ain't Eazy', the lyrics are believed to be directed towards MA for being openly gay. She responded to Black's lyrics on Instagram Live calling him 'weird'.

4. Blackface | 2Baba
The Nigerian musician has released a diss song to former bandmate 2Baba. In the song, Blackface alleges 2Baba's gay and Nigerians were having none of it. Their difference is believed to have begun back when Blackface accused 2Baba of song theft.

5. Kenyatta University
'Breakage of floor tiles' triggered a loud noise at the University's postmodern library on Monday afternoon caused panic among students believing it was a terrorist attack. This resulted in a number of casualties as some jumped from as high as the third floor of the building to run for safety.
