KOT went wild on Thursday after one of their own compared boy bands Sauti Sol with latest sensation Ethic Group. “Forget Khaligraph or Kristoff or Naiboi even… Heck even sauti sol, these ethic boys are just changing the scene. And pardon me if I’m wrong, they pull a crowd that will go to the edge to support them. And that will define them”, tweeted one Sir. Khana -@sakanasaoli16. The tweep further argued that Ethic have built their career in a shorter period compared to Sauti Sol’s 10 years. Mixed reactions were drawn, taking up the conversation for the better part of the day.

Imagine we’re a big enough market for Sauti Sol AND Ethic?
We don’t have to chose one, we can have both.

Finaly Ethic have a manager with brains. They have sparked a comparison debate between Sauti Sol and their group before officially launching their new video which features the appearance of Kamene Goro (another hype). However truth remains they are nowhere near #sautisol level.

Kenyans on twitter are baying for blood with #BoycottJsRestaurant. This comes after earlier allegations of racial bias at the establishment and a not-so-subtle response on the restaurant’s social platform to a customer complaint. J’s Restaurant claimed that their customer service behaviour was because of Kenyan (poor) tipping culture. They also added that this was not only unique to them but also most Kenyan restaurants, a response many couldn’t let go unchecked.

#BoycottJSRestaurant racial discrimination in a black country warathis. The way these white people are treated like superiors in our own country.its a shame.some of them are broke as church mouses ni rangi tu

Why do this #BoycottJSRestaurant on our keyboards when we can actually mobilize and go close it down. Kenyans cant be this coward. Racism at home is unacceptable.
