The long-awaited live action remake of Disney’s 1994 “The Lion King”, premieres in theatres worldwide today. The live adaptation’s  soundtrack “The Lion King: The Gift” is also available for streaming today.

KOT Debates Sexual Consent Age Reduction Plans

Kenyans on Twitter have taken to the social media platform, debating on whether the proposal by Court of Appeal to have sexual consent age reduced from 18 to 16 years, should be implemented or not. Commemorating #MandelaDay

The world commemorated the late Nelson Mandela’s would be 101st birthday on Thursday. “International Nelson Mandela Day” was endorsed by the United Nations in 2009, to celebrate the global icon’s birthday for his service to humanity. The UN encouraged people across the world to do an act of kindness. Nelson Mandela passed on December 2013, following a respiratory tract infection.

New ‘IT Chapter Two’ Movie Trailer Released

The final trailer for “IT Chapter Two” has been released. This is a highly-anticipated sequel to the 2017 blockbuster — based on Stephen King’s beloved 1986 novel. The latest trailer takes us 27 years after the terrifying pennywise encounter, which sees the horrific adventures taking a new toll on the characters. “IT 2” hits theatres September 6.

Universal Pictures Releases First ‘Cats’ Movie Trailer

The first footage for Universal’s “Cats” movie has been released. The upcoming musical adaptation stars Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden and Idris Elba, with a little touch of “digital fur technology”. “Cats” peeps into a tribe of cats called “the Jellicles”, who must decide yearly which one will ascend to the Heaviside layer and come back to a new Jellicle life. The movie premieres in theatres December 20.
