Rescued Osprey Bird Dies

The Osprey bird that was discovered in Siaya county last week has died, Kenya Wildlife Service confirmed. The migratory bird which flew an estimated 6,948 kilometers from Finland to Kenya, was caught in a fishing net by one Walter Oloo last Thursday.It was later moved to Nairobi's Raptor Rehabilitation Centre in Karen. KWS attributed the rare bird's death to long term starvation.

Jelani Maraj, brother to Nicki Minaj has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. He was found guilty of predatory sexual assault against his former step daughter on Monday.

Fitness Instructor Zablon Osiemo Passes On

Zablon Osiemo was involved in a fatal road accident on Sunday. Veteran musician Nonini broke the news on social media, "Death is so unfair. How does this happen to my friend @zablonfitness REST WELL Brother. ? We had 28days to go on our fitness challenge". No further details have been revealed as to Osiemo's death.
