Harvey Weinstein Convicted of Rape and Sexual Assault
Harvey Weinstein has been convicted of third-degree rape and a first-degree criminal sexual act. The charges are based on testimonies involving oral sex in 2006 and rape in 2013. The 67-year-old film producer was however acquitted on two serious counts of predatory sexual assault and one count of rape in the first degree. The World Pays Tribute to Kobe Bryant
At least 20,000 people flocked Staples Centre on Monday in celebration of Kobe and Gianna Bryant. Millions more got to watch the live event through various media across the world. Vanessa Bryant opened up on the pain of losing her loved ones, describing daughter Gianna as "an amazingly sweet and gentle soul". She also talked about "girl dad" Kobe and their 21-year relationship. Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan were among celebrity attendees at the event.
