One of Afrobeats biggest stars was under fire this weekend for body shaming a lady who disagreed with his political opinions. The 'Assurance' hit maker was all over social media rooting for his preferred candidate when the lady (T.Lolo) came at him saying that  he decided to sell his soul for campaigns.
Davido lashed at the lady calling her 'ugly' but the internet did not take it kindly. He clearly did not expect the amount of backlash which sparked over 60,000 tweets in a matter of hours, to make him a worldwide trend.He later apologized to T.Lolo referencing his anger as part of his 'impulsive' personality.

3. Dennis Okari
The NTV news anchor is married again after his public split with Betty Kyallo months ago. Kenyans On Twitter offered congratulatory messages to Okari and his new wife, Naomi Joy as wedding photos surfaced online.
"No pain whatsoever, happy for him. Wish him the best and to everyone else who's gone or going through the same thing, you're human, life happens, move on and find your happiness," Betty was quoted when Okari proposed to Naomi a few weeks back.

4. Alec Baldwin
Popular hit US show, Saturday Night Live (SNL) was the talk of town when actor Alec Baldwin mocked the president, Donald Trump with a sketch.Baldwin, who's been doing Trump sketches for SNL since 2016 talked about the president's state of emergency declaration announced earlier this week.
The sketch got even more popular when the 'thin-skinned' president tweeted "Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC!".

5. Descendants 3
Disney released the first trailer for 'Descendants 3' this past weekend. The 44-second trailer previews the teenage daughters and sons of Disney's most infamous villains returning to the Isle of the Lost to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep.
The first Descendants debuted in 2015 becoming hugely successful with its good versus evil storyline.
6. #AskMeek
After his release from prison last April, Meek Mill has been set to restoring his image to the public. From this, we have seen the feud with Drake quashed through their new collab 'Going Bad' and a successful #1 album 'Championships'.
