Wanyama Threatens Xtian Dela, Shakilla with Defamation Suit
Socialite Shakilla and blogger Xtian Dela may be facing legal charges following the threat of a defamation suit from Victor Wanyama. On Monday, Shakilla, in a now viral video with Dela, claimed to have had sexual interactions with Wanyama who allegedly paid her Kshs. 700,000 for the service. The football star issued a statement on Tuesday afternoon, terming the accusations as "fabricated and insulting allegations aimed at scandalizing my good name and reputation".Recently, the socialite was "forced" to publicly apologize to Khaligraph for intimating to have also slept with the rapper - she was "under the influence of alcohol" when making the defamatory accusations. "Am being forced to do this public apology cause I damaged @khaligraph_jones public image by whatever that I said yesterday due to influence of alcohol and reverse psychology".Described as a clout chaser, the socialite named over 15 celebrities among them Willy Paul, Ringtone and Brown Mauzo - including Wanyama and Jones. In response to the legal suit, Xtian Dela tweeted a cryptic post which read, "The truth is like a fart, if you hold it in for a long time it can kill you." Shakilla also said, "The truth hurts that's why you won't stop whining saying it's a lie. I ain't no ones mama to comfort you".How is this even true damn! DaBaby, Roddy Ricch Lead 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards Noms
On Tuesday, BET announced the nominees for its 15th annual "BET Hip Hop Awards". Topping the list is rapper DaBaby with 12 nods including Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Male Hip Hop Artist - The "Rockstar" crooner also has double nominations in four of the categories. Roddy Ricch comes in a close second with 11 nods in categories including Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse and Best Collaboration for "Rockstar". Megan Thee Stallion and Drake tie in third place with eight nominations each.Kenya's very own, Khaligraph Jones has also been nominated in the Best International Flow category.
