Netflix Unveils its Classics Catalogue

Netflix just acquired a variety of old favorites and its churning them out, one by one. "Time to pop bottles??. The following classic shows are coming to @Netflix", tweeted the streaming platform.
Tia and Tamera Mowry's "Sister Sister" made its debut on Tuesday with all six seasons available for the fans' viewing pleasure. The beloved sitcom, which originally aired between 1994 and 1999, follows the lives of twin sisters Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell. Separated at birth and reunited after 14 years, they soon move in together with blending families and personalities.
Singer Brandy's "Moesha" began airing August 1st, and was followed by "The Game's" first three seasons on August 15th. Tracee Ellis Ross' "Girlfriends" will be launching September 11th, with "The Parkers" debuting on October 1st, and soon after "Half & Half" and "One on One" on October 15th.

Anchor Victoria Rubadiri Bags Prestigious BBC Award

Victoria Rubadiri is the newest recipient of BBC's Komla Dumor award. The Citizen TV anchor is Kenya's second and overall, sixth recipient of the prestigious award after Solomon Serwanjja, Waihiga Mwaura, Amina Yuguda, Didi Akinyelure and Nancy Kacungira.
Vicky will undergo a three-month placement at the BBC with a training course at the BBC Academy. She will also join the media's news teams, providing her "with the opportunity to gain skills and experience across BBC News platforms". In response to the news, Vicky said, "It's an absolute honor to play a small role in elevating the memory of the indomitable Komla Dumor. Thank you @BBCWorld for the incredible recognition"
The award was created to honor the late Komla Dumor, a former BBC World News presenter, who died in 2014.

An Unscripted 'Fresh Prince Reunion' in the Works

The "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" is coming to HBO Max in celebration of the hit show's 30th anniversary. "Set to tape September 10th, the actual 30th anniversary of the series in 1990, the reunion will launch exclusively on HBO Max around Thanksgiving," read the press statement.
The "unscripted" special will be executive-produced by Miguel Melendez, Lukas Kaiser and Brad Haugen. Cast to have since confirmed their availability include Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro.
"The Fresh Prince of Bel Air", which originally aired for six seasons from 1990 to 1996, centers around a streetwise, poor young man from Philadelphia (Smith) who is sent by his mother to live with his aunt, uncle and cousins in their Bel-Air mansion.
