Mwalimu Rachel Allegedly Demands Kshs. 1.5M for Sailors' YouTube Channel

Rachel Muthoni Njeru, popularly known as Mwalimu Rachel, is making headlines yet again. The NRG Radio presenter was recently accused by artists Sailors of denying them access to their YouTube account. The Gengetone group further alleged that she demanded Kshs. 1.5 million to provide them with the channel's login details which boasts of 126,000 subscribers.
Rachel and Sailors had a falling out over issues unknown to the public. "We respect her, we've come from far, but we didn't expect this to turn out the way it did, we have opened new YouTube channels and we are now signed under Black Market Records. If you book a gig with her, you will have been conned", read a statement from one of the band's members.
In response to the allegations, Mwalimu Rachel tweeted a cryptic post which read, "Smart ladies run businesses. Nawapenda wote!", adding, "I shall address the nation later my loves. Mimi sikimbilii maneno. Kwa sasa tuchape kazi. #Focus".

Google Deletes Flaqo's YouTube Channel on Copyright Claims

Comedian Flaqo, over the weekend, notified fans that his YouTube channel had been terminated by Google due to several copyright claims associated with it. "We'd like to inform you that your channel Flaqo Raz has been terminated because we concluded it was linked to a channel that was disabled for having three or more copyright strikes. You can find more information by checking the email inbox of your linked account," read the email shared by the online sensation.
Expressing his frustration, Flaqo urged fans to "report all channels that are not mine but have my content in it". He further disclosed that he was about to "launch my show on youtube its maliciously taken down". He, however, had a message for those undercutting his work, "Am not dropping the mic btw so if you maliciously want me out of the industry sorry?…..we will be back with twice the energy ,this war of kicking me out of social media every time is getting a little personal."
An online campaign dubbed #ReturnFlaqoRaz has since been trending in an attempt to get Google to restore his YouTube channel. Flaqo was recently awarded a silver play button from YouTube for achieving the 100,000-subscriber milestone.

'Jungle Land' Trailer Released

Paramount Pictures has released the hard-hitting trailer for "Jungle land". Directed by Max Winkler, the drama flick is a story of two brothers who try to escape their circumstances by travelling across the country for a no holds barred boxing match, that becomes a fight for their lives.
The official synopsis reads: Stanley (Charlie Hunnam) and Lion (Jack O'Connell) are two brothers struggling to stay relevant in the underground world of bare-knuckle boxing. When Stanley fails to pay back a dangerous crime boss (Jonathan Majors), they're forced to deliver an unexpected traveler as they journey across the country for a high stakes fighting tournament. While Stanley trains Lion for the fight of his life, a series of events threaten to tear the brothers apart, but their love for one another and belief in a better life keep them going in this gripping drama that proves family pulls no punches.
"Jungle land" arrives in select theatres November 6th,2020.
