Commemorating Star Wars Day
We may be a little bit late, but Happy Star Wars Day to all fans of a galaxy far, far away!
The informal commemorative day, observed annually on May 4th, celebrates George Lucas’ Star Wars media franchise. It originated from his famous line of the first 1977 film Star Wars: A New Hope, “Then man your ships! And may the Force be with you!” Over a decade ago, fans globally adopted the “May the Fourth be with you” phenomenon to pay tribute to Lucas’ films.
According to Aljazeera, the Star Wars franchise has “generated almost $9bn in box-office sales” since the first theatrical premiere.

The Gates Divorce: Hilarious Kenyan Reactions

“We continue to share a belief in that mission [of leading healthy lifestyles] and will continue our work together at the [Bill & Melinda Gates] foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives,” they wrote. They have also requested for “space and privacy” as they begin to navigate their lives separately.
