Shix Kapienga Joins NTV
Media personality Nancy Karanja, popularly known as Shix Kapienga, is joining NTV as the new co-host of popular reggae show Jamdown. Shix will be working alongside resident DJ Moh Spice.
The media personality made the announcement via her Instagram on Thursday (Mar. 24). "Now you know…Let's link up this Saturday ndani ya @ntvjamdown", she wrote alongside a video of their new TV promo.

Jamdown airs every Saturday from 10PM on NTV Kenya.

Billboard Launches U.S Afrobeats Songs Chart
Popular music magazine, Billboard, has partnered with Afro Nation musical festival to launch the Billboard U.S Afrobeats Songs Chart.
Per Billboard.com, "the chart ranks the 50 most popular Afrobeats songs in the country based on a weighted formula incorporating official streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of leading audio and video music services, plus download sales from top music retailers".
"I believe it is vital that with Billboard we now have a U.S. chart that reflects this growth and provides a platform for emerging artists from every continent to showcase their talent to new audiences," said Afro Nation founder, Obi Asika.
The Billboard U.S Afrobeats Songs chart will be live starting March 29th.
