IG Launches Chronological Feed
Instagram has launched the return of its popular chronological feed - an update that lets users view posts only from accounts they follow and in a chronological order. Also added was a "favourites" feed option that allows users to filter content from their favourite accounts.
The move comes after widespread controversy following the platform's use of algorithmic feed in 2016.
On the new update, Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram said, "We believe in more transparency and accountability. We believe in more control [for users]".
The new chronological and "favourites" feed options are currently available to users globally.
We heard you loud and clear — chrono is back! 🚨
