Mzee Jackson Kibor Passes On
The renowned business man succumbed to kidney failure on Wednesday following his prolonged battle with COVID-19, the family confirmed. The proclaimed “men’s conference chairman” died at age 88.
“His health worsened early this month when he was diagnosed with a kidney failure. He was undergoing dialysis,” said his daughter, Loice Kibor.

Commemorating Late E-Sir’s Anniversary
Netizens paid tribute to the late Issah Wangui Mmari, popularly known as E-Sir, on his 19th anniversary.
Music veterans Wahu and Nameless took to Instagram to remember the Moss Moss hitmaker. Nameless wrote, “19 years since you left us. You still inspiring the new generation with your awesomeness”.
Wahu wrote, “Thank you for sharing your gift with the world”.
E-Sir passed on in a tragic road accident along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway in March 2003, at 21. He is credited as one of Kenya’s greatest musical pioneers to date.
