Flossin Mauwano Displays New 'Work of Art'
On Monday (March 14), netizens took to the interwebs to discuss popular graffiti artist Flossin Mauwano's new work on the newly constructed Nairobi Expressway.
The brand, owned by one Stephen Mule, apparently came about following his parents' deaths. "In 1997, I watched my parents get knocked down on the highway (along Langata Road) while escaping an irate crowd of youths following the election violence that had erupted," he told the media a while back. "As an artist, I thought of how to combat the menace and came up with the slogan".

eish people claim to be cultured on these nairobi skreets but can't fathom art beyond the mainstream face value.
the fact that they can have such strong opinions about a nondescript character alone, makes flossin mauwano the greatest grafitti artist of our generation.— upendo-hero (@ronjeyrocks) March 14, 2022
