Veteran Journalist Hillary Ng'weno Passes On
Hillary Ng'weno has passed on at age 83 after a long illness, his family confirmed on Wednesday (July 7). The veteran journalist was popularly known for producing Makers of a Nation and Kenya's Darkest Hour documentaries among others.Ngw'eno's achievements span across decades. He was the first Kenyan to study at Harvard University in 1957, was the country's youngest editor-in-chief at just 25 years and founded Kenya's first independent TV news station, STV, and The Weekly Review newspaper.Ng'weno is survived by his wife, Fleur, and two daughters, Amolo and Bettina.The country has lost veteran journalist and historian Hilary Ng'weno. He is best known as founder and Editor In Chief of Weekly Review magazine.

Disney's Encanto Trailer Released
Disney Animation Studios has released the official trailer for Encanto. Directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, the animated feature film tells the tale of a family called the Madrigals, who live in an enchanted town in the mountains of Colombia.Every child but one in their magical house has been granted a unique ability such as strength or healing powers. Mirabel, the only ordinary child, discovers the magic is under threat and she may be the only one able to save it.Encanto is scheduled for a November 24th theatrical release.
