2020 Emmys Nominees Announced

The 72nd Emmy Award nominations were revealed on Tuesday as Netflix broke HBO’s nomination record for the second time with 160. HBO’s Watchmen series leads with 26 noms, followed closely by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with 20 nominations. Ozark and Succession tied in third with 18 nominations each.

Insecure, Dead to Me and The Good Place will be among those battling for the “Outstanding Comedy Series” award. Stranger Things, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Mandalorian will be going head to head for the coveted “Outsanding Drama Series”. Among the nominated lead comedy actors include Blackish star Anthony Anderson, Ramy’s Ramy Youssef and Schitt’s Creek’s very own, Eugene Levy. The Emmys airs September 20,2020. ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ Teaser Released

‘The Kissing Booth’ will have a trilogy, according to Netflix. “It’s official! The Kissing Booth 3 is coming in 2021”, tweeted the streaming platform recently. This comes less than a week since the 2018 romcom sequel premiered, becoming another instant success – Debuted atop Kenya’s Netflix trends.

The cast also confirmed that they will be reprising their roles during “TKB Fan Fest” virtual event last weekend, adding that the flick’s third installment was already in post-production. “The Kissing Booth”, directed by Vince Marcello, follows a high school student, Elle Evans (Joey King) forced to confront her secret crush Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi) at a kissing booth. Things seemingly turn sour in their long-distance romance, changing her relationship with best friend Lee and feelings for a new classmate.

The Netflix exclusive sees Elle with boyfriend Noah and Lee (Elle’s best friend) with love interest Rachel when she gets a notification from Harvard and ignores it.

‘After We Collided’ Trailer Released

The official trailer for Voltage Pictures’ upcoming flick “After We Collided” has been released. The Roger Kumble-directed sequel to the 2019 film “After” is an extension of Tessa Young’s story (Josephine Langford), a young woman who falls for a guy with a dark secret that results in a rocky relationship.

“After We Collided” premieres in theatres and on-demand October 2,2020.
