WhatsApp Joins Status
WhatsApp has launched its official account on Status within the application. "WhatsApp is now on Status!" read the status text. "We'll let you about new features and updates here."The move is attributed to the messaging platform's reminder of its commitment to user privacy. "One thing that isn't new is our commitment to your privacy", continued the Status update. "WhatsApp can't read or listen to your personal conversations as they're end-to-end encrypted."In recent days, WhatsApp has made headlines following its planned decision to update its Terms of Service by integrating with other Facebook-owned family of Apps, in a bid to monetize the platform. Contact lists, locations and financial information are some of the things that would have been compromised if users accepted the terms. According to the messaging platform, you either had to agree to the changes or exit the app altogether. "We're still working to counter any confusion by communicating directly with @WhatsApp users", the messaging platform tweeted via their official account on Friday.WhatsApp has since paused the privacy policy update from the scheduled February 8th to May, for users to have "plenty of time to review and understand the terms". Alternative platforms, Signal and Telegram, have been reporting an upsurge of newly registered users following the controversial policy update.#WhatsappStatus feature! @EguarEglin

Set in 1981, Ritchie (Olly Alexander), Roscoe (Omari Douglas) and Colin (Callum Scott Howells) are young lads, strangers at first, leaving home at 18 and heading off to London with hope and ambition and joy… and walking straight into a virus that most of the world ignores.Year by year, episode by episode, crossing the whole decade, their lives change as the mystery of that illness starts as a rumor, then a threat, then a terror, and then something that binds them together in the fight. And complex families, pushed to the limit and beyond."It's a Sin" premieres on the streaming platform February 18th. Check out the trailer below!Come for the party, stay for the love!
