Miss Mandi, Amina Apologise Over ‘Mean Girl’ Culture Association
Things seem to have died down for Miss Mandi and Amina Abdi Rabar. Last weekend, the media personalities issued statements apologising to affected parties of “mean girl culture” associated with them.
Miss Mandi said that in as much as she did not recall the many incidences recounted online, it did not “negate that those moments could have impacted those that I have worked and interacted with negatively”.
Amina apologised on live TV via her Friday night entertainment show #TTTT, saying, “If there is anyone out there who I have ever encountered who felt like I was mean or I didn’t give them the kind of reception that they had expected, that I apologize for.” She, however, denied being toxic, “But toxic, I am not, and I just show people a lot of love,”
The duo has been trending for three days following toxic work culture allegations levelled against them. Here’s what Kenyans on Twitter had to say regarding their apologies.
