Jalang'o Quits Radio for Politics
He's calling it quits! Felix Odiwuor, alias Jalang'o, has left KISS FM for his political ambitions. The comedian bid his official goodbyes to fans on Tuesday. "The curtain call today falls on me as I begin a new chapter officially to go and try my hands in politics," he said on the Breakfast Show with former co-host Kamene Goro.
He termed his run for the Lang'ata parliamentary seat "a calling and a chance to show people that good leaders still exist, by being one". An emotional Kamene said it broke her heart to see him go, "but I'm so happy for what you are going to do".
Jalang'o joined the station in July 2020 following his departure from Hot 96 radio.
