Kanze Dena Trolled Over Her Weight Gain

Kanze Dena is the internet's latest victim of body shaming. The State House Spokesperson took to the podium last Friday for a press conference on the president's working tour in Nyeri county. However, trolls were quick to point out her weight gain as memes flooded various social media platforms. "Everyone seems to be adding weight pale statehouse. From Uhuru himself to kanze dena...Okay", tweeted one user.
Not long after, a section of netizens came to her defense, attributing her weight gain to having just resumed work from maternity leave. "Kanze just had a baby. Quit the body shaming of women and give her a break! She's beautiful and confident", said another Twitter user.
Renowned comedian Terence Creative also had some words for the trolls, himself being a victim of body shaming in the past. "I experience this every day. I see people insult us coz of our size and wonder what makes them happy. I realise I am not the problem, they are."
