Tyler Perry has officially revealed that he is single and having a midlife crisis after splitting from longtime partner, Gelila Bekele – with whom they share a six-year-old boy. On Thursday, the media mogul shared a post-workout selfie on Instagram with the caption, “This is what a midlife crisis looks like. I’m 51, single, and wondering what the next chapter in my life will look like.”

“Whatever it looks like I’m going to walk with God,” he continued, promising to be “the best father and man I can be, hold my head up high, and try to look my best doing it!!” The actor-cum-director also shared a positive message in his concluding remarks, “In a world with so much sadness, please try and stay in the good! Merry Christmas and let’s look forward to 2021 bringing us peace!”

Perry’s thirst trap post has since attracted a lot of attention as fans flooded his comments section, trying their luck to get noticed by the billionaire. Check out some of the reactions below.

‘Brothers by Blood’ Trailer Released

Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for upcoming film, “Brothers by Blood”. Based on author Pete Dexter’s 1991 novel, “Brotherly Love”, the Jérémie Guez-directed flick is centered around Peter Flood, an eight-year-old boy who helplessly watches on as his little sister is killed by a neighbor’s reckless driving.

Tormented with grief and resentment, his father finds revenge as the only solution, leaving lasting generational wounds. Thirty years later, Peter (Matthias Schoenaerts) still wrestles with the guilt he feels over his sister’s death and his father’s vengeance. As he tries to distance himself from the criminal family business, his cousin, Michael (Joel Kinnaman), becomes more powerful in the hierarchy. Bonded by blood, neither man can escape violence as they are dragged further into a chilling cycle of betrayal and retribution.

“Brothers by Blood” is slated for a theatrical premiere on January 22, 2021.
