Google Reveals 'Year in Search 2020'
Google has revealed its annual "Year in Search 2020" exploring the searches that shaped this year, from Google Trends. "In times of uncertainty, people seek understanding and meaning. 2020 was a year of deep questioning, as the world searched "why" more than ever, according to Google Trends", tweeted the tech firm.According to Google, the top trending searches of 2020 included the US Election results, Coronavirus, Kobe Bryant, Coronavirus update, Coronavirus symptoms, Zoom, who is winning the US election, Chadwick Boseman and the recently released, PlayStation 5."Parasite", "Black Panther" and "1917" made the list as the most searched movies of the year. Others placing high among the trending searches list were actors Joaquin Phoenix, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tom Hanks. Top searched shows of the year included Netflix's "Tiger King", "Money Heist" and "The Umbrella Academy". Ellen Tests Positive for COVID-19
Ellen DeGeneres has tested positive for COVID-19, she announced on Thursday. "Hi Everyone," her statement read. "I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I'm feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I'll see you all again after the holidays. 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' Trailer Released
Disney has revealed the official trailer for Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" upcoming series. According to reports, the six-episode action flick will introduce some new adventures from the "Captain America" trilogy.The series' official synopsis, according to Disney, reads: Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."Emily Van Camp will reprise her role as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, as Daniel Brühl makes his comeback as the evil Baron Zemo.
