'John Wick' 4 & 5 to be Shot Back to Back, Confirms Lionsgate
The Keanu Reeves'-ran blockbuster will have its fourth and fifth sequels filmed back-to-back starting next year. "We're also busy preparing scripts for the next two installments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend [May 27] 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year", Lionsgate CEO, John Feltheimer confirmed during the corporate's quarterly earnings call.With a reported budget of about $75 million, the previous "John Wick" film, "Parabellum" grossed an estimated $327 million in box office. The Sarah Kucserka-created comedy-drama series failed to secure a season two renewal for reasons unknown, despite its success. The show's lead, Zoë Kravitz, confirmed the news on Instagram while appreciating fans and co-stars for their support, "Thank you for all the love and heart you put into this show. 'Judas and the Black Messiah' Trailer Released
The first official trailer for Warner Bros.' upcoming film, "Judas and the Black Messiah" has been released. The Shaka King-directed biography - starring Daniel Kaluuya and LaKeith Stanfield -features the story of Fred Hampton (played by Kaluuya), Chairman of the Illinois Black Panther Party whose betrayal by FBI informant William O'Neal (LaKeith), leads to his assassination."Judas and the Black Messiah" was originally slated for an August 21,2020 release date but was later pushed back to a TBA.
